Funding ratio

112.2%

At the end of 2019, our policy funding ratio was 112,2%. Based on this funding ratio in 2019, we were able to increase the pension benefit by 0,41% to compensate for the rise in the cost of living from 1 January 2020. The funding ratio is the ratio between our assets and the amount of pension benefits (now and in the future).

Costs

The costs for administration and communication per member rose from € 158 in 2018 to € 180 in 2019. For investing the pension contributions (asset management), we paid € 500,000 less in 2019 than in the previous year.

The implementation of the pension administration and communication became more expensive, but there were also fewer participants and pensioners to distribute the costs.
