In 1963, Bob Dylan wrote his song The Times They Are a-Changin'.
A message that is no less relevant today. We are living in times of change. We are all experiencing and realising that. The impact of the coronavirus crisis on our personal lives is immense. There are financial consequences for pension funds. Drastic social changes seem inevitable. But I'm an optimist. I trust that something good can come out of this situation. Such as more cooperation and solidarity in global society. You see that creativity and togetherness increase when we're under pressure. During and after the coronavirus crisis, we will need both.
When it comes to pensions too, 'together' is the key word. The government, employers, employees and pension funds are working together to chart the best course towards a solid pension system in the twenty-first century. This is now beginning to take shape. I sense a positive energy. Just like you can hear it in Bob Dylan's song. And there is something else that radiates positive energy: the articles in our revamped magazine.
I hope you will enjoy reading it and I wish you a safe and healthy autumn.
